First Perspective Writing
A gun’s view of the Boston Massacre:
It was a provocation. The colonists were throwing snow balls and pieces of ice to the British. The British, in the beginning, ignored them, but after that more people came and started to get a big crowd. The British, frightened, shot one shot, with me, obviously, the shot heard in the hole world. I killed two colonists, and I’m sorry for that, but I couldn’t do anything. This was my version of the shot that started the Revolutionary War. Sorry.
